Breaking Ground: Twenty Years of the New York Chinese Scholar’s Garden brings the fascinating story of this unique space to life through artifacts, photographs, and artwork, in honor of the 20th anniversary of its completion.

為了慶祝及紀念紐約史德登島寄興園20年前破土動工, Snug Harbor 文化中心將舉辦一系列的展覽,藉著文物,照片已及藝術品來向大家介紹建造寄興園的故事.

Explore the cultural impact of the NYCSG, an immersive space modeled after traditional Ming Dynasty gardens (1368-1644), featuring a bamboo forest path, waterfalls, a Koi-filled pond, Chinese calligraphy, and a variety of Ghongshi scholar’s rocks, creating the first authentic outdoor classical scholar’s garden in the United States.

探索寄興園的文化影響，猶如置身在中國傳統明朝庭園(西元1368~1644), 其中的特色包括：竹林環繞的小徑, 瀑布, 錦鯉池塘, 不同樣式的供石,創造出在美國第一個真實的戶外古典的中國學者花園。
